Mr. Ochsner brings decades of expertise in mechanical and plant engineering, energy distribution, robotics, as well as automation, and at ABB he was, among other things, CFO for the Europe region, as well as CFO, labor director and most recently chairman of the board of the German ABB AG until 2023.

Previously, Mr. Ochsner was responsible for various business areas of ABB, including the global unit for low-voltage energy distributors and, as sole managing director, Striebel & John.

Mr. Ochsner also worked for ABB's business areas in the USA and Italy for many years.

In addition to his work as chairman of the Federal Commission for Artificial Intelligence and Value Creation 4.0 in the Economic Council, Mr. Ochsner was on the board of the ZVEI and a steering committee member of the Industry 4.0 platform. He was also a board member of the BDI Digital Economy Committee.
