Prof. (FH) Dr. Markus W. Exler is one of the pioneers in further development, promotion of know-how exchange and qualification in the field of restructuring and restructuring. He does not view the restructuring of companies as a flaw or as a consequence of a crisis, but rather as part of normal corporate development. As a partner of nexum AG, an agency for digital consulting with around 200 employees, he advises managers and entrepreneurs on challenges in transformation processes. As a board member, he is very happy to help shape the work in the BDU Association for Restructuring and Insolvency Consulting.
He has been a professor at the University of Kufstein since 2003 and is responsible for the Institute for Cross-Border Restructuring, which he founded. Regular visiting professorships at universities in India, Dubai and Singapore with lectures on the subject areas of M & A and turnaround contribute to the further development of his scientific approaches.
Markus Exler was previously at MAC Mergers & Acquisitions-Consulting GmbH in Vienna and Interfinanz GmbH in Düsseldorf; He had one of the most exciting times in the New York branch of today's Hypo-Vereinsbank AG; Studies and doctorates were at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg; He lives with passion at his two residences in Nuremberg and Kufstein, the latter in particular. with the opportunity to go skiing as a former competitive athlete in the Kitzbühel Alps.
