Wilhelm B. Könning has been working as a management consultant and operational manager in the chemical and cosmetics industry for 30 years. He has gained his experience through many years of working in various countries (Germany, UK, USA). After studying languages and economics in Germany and Japan, he began his career in the chemical industry at Bayer AG, later at Unilever, Air Products, H.B. Fuller and Völker AG. From 2006 to 2020, he managed ADA Cosmetics International in Kehl am Rhein.
He is familiar with situations where effective sales and marketing are required. The focus here is on BtoB management in all its facets. As CEO, turnaround situations and intensive dealings with private equity (four management buy-outs with Halder, Carlyle, Ardian and Moonlake) and six add-on acquisitions (UK, DK, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Canada) have had a decisive influence on him.
